My Books

Last night, I cataloged all the books on my shelf into a Microsoft word document. It was 6 and a half pages long on twelve point font! I didn't count how many I had, but I'd guess at least a hundred, or close to it.
Then today, I went through and alphabetized the entire thing by author's last name. I have chaffing on my wrists from resting them on the edge of my laptop. Woops!
Anyways, while going through my book library, I realized how many books I'm not 100% familiar with. It has been so long since I have read some of these books that I don't remember what all of them are about or what happens. Take the Heroes of Olympus series, for example. While I am still only finished with the first three books, I don't remember everything it is about. I don't even remember characters beyond Percy, Annabeth, and Jason. I remember something about a Hazel and a Frank or something along those lines. But I don't remember much else. The last thing I remember is from Mark of Athena where Percy and Annabeth fall into the underworld.
But I love my books nonetheless. I have spent many a minutes just staring at my bookshelf from my bed. And I don't regret it, even though it is time I could have spent doing something else.
