I finally finished this book!

Holy cow, it took me forever to finish this novel, and it's pretty short. I just didn't get sucked in immediately, and did not get sucked in until the last 15 pages when the real action happened.

This is in no way a bad book, but it just didn't do it for me as much as I thought it would. It started off a little slow, and was only slightly faster throughout the rest of the novel. I felt as though there was more time spent talking about mean-girls and what they were going to do (and never did) about other things; and less about what was actually going on. Because what the final action scene was about had barely anything to do with what a lot of the book was going on about.

I did enjoy this book, to an extent. I enjoy these characters and this idea, but I wish it had been a little more action-y. I do have the second book, so I'll be continuing on with the series and hoping things are faster in the next book.

I do hope there is a romantic connection in the second book, because there are two characters who I would absolutely love to see together. Even so, I'd also enjoy if someone from the other school could possibly be in it as well, making it, yes, a love triangle. But I'm always looking for unique love triangles, and while this wouldn't be the most unique one, it would still be better than some.

I enjoyed this book, but not as much as I thought I would.

Thanks for reading
