NaNoWriMo 2015

Happy November 1st/La Toussaint/Brie's Birthday/NaNoWriMo Day! It's the first day of November and a lot is going on today. La Toussaint (All Saint's Day in France) is today and also my step-sister, Brie's birthday is today! Obviously her birthday is the most important event of today, but another thing that is very exciting today is the first day of NaNoWriMo.
NaNoWriMo (aka National Novel Writing Month) is a writing competition where you're challenged to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. There are chat rooms, virtual write-ins, and author pep talks throughout the year that make it much more than just "sit down and write a novel." Plus, the winners get a bunch of cool stuff (including 2 free paperback copies of your novel). I did it last year, and while it was a little stressful, it was really fun! I am very glad I decided to do it and I also have NaNoWriMo buddies at my school! How cool is that!
Here's the link to the site: http://nanowrimo.org/dashboard. I hope to see you all there!
