Well, 2021 has come to a close. This was one of the most difficult years of my life and that was definitely reflected in my reading year. Whereas in 2020 I managed to still read quite a bit, 2021 was just a no-go from the beginning. I managed to get through 43 books, which is still a good number under the circumstances. However, since I've read over 100 books almost every year for the past 6 years...I do have to admit that I am disappointed.
I'm heading into 2022 with apprehension and dread over most aspects of my life. Strangely, I am cautiously optimistic about my upcoming reading year though. I'm starting to find my way back into a reading/content groove and that has me hopeful for what the next reading months could bring.
