Another month gone by, another wrap up to dive into! April was a pretty busy month for me and I didn't prioritize reading as much as other hobbies. I only read six books, with three of those being rereads. However, I loved all of what I read this month so I consider that to be a win. I'm anticipating May to be an even busier month but I also anticipate reading a lot more and a better work-life balance despite the increased schedule. But, for now, let's turn back to April and take a look at all things bookish.

I only picked up one book this month and it was a complete surprise to me. I was sent an ARC of Five Broken Blades by Mai Corland and I'm pretty excited about it. This book was on my radar for upcoming fantasy romances and it just sounds so cool and right up my alley. Romance, found family, fantasy...I'm keen to see how this one goes.
