Hello everyone! This year, on top of having books of the month, I decided to do a few different read-a-longs leading up to different book releases! This year I have 3 read-a-longs planned so far that are spread out over a long enough period that everyone will have plenty of time. The 3 series that I'm planning on reading are Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and Harry Potter. These aren't all going to be taking place over the same period of time so I, along with anyone who decides to join me, will have plenty of time to read all of these. I decided to announce this by telling everyone what books I'll be reading in each month.
January is going to be my month off where I don't read anything except my Book of the Month and regular TBR. This is to help me get readjusted to college and see how reading will fit into my schedule.
In February, I will be starting my ACOTAR read-a-long. We will be reading A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.
In March, we will continue on and read The Assassin's Blade and A Court of Mist and Fury, again by Sarah J. Maas to continue on with the ACOTAR series reread and begin the TOG one.
In April, we have Throne of Glass and A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas to, again, continue on with the rereads. This will conclude the ACOTAR reread in preparation for the next book being published.
In May, we will read Crown of Midnight and A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. This brings us to the end of the ACOTAR read-a-long with the newest release in the series.
In June, we will be reading Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling. We will be continuing the TOG read-a-long and starting the HP one.
In July, we will be reading Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling to continue each series' read-a-long.
In August, we will be reading Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas. We will also continue the HP read-a-long with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
In September, we will finish the TOG reread with Tower of Dawn. We shall also continue the HP read-a-long by reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
In October, we will start the final, untitled installment to the TOG series. We will also read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling.
In November, we will finish the TOG read-a-long with the final, untitled installment releasing at the end of October by Sarah J. Maas. We'll also read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling.
And finally, in December, we shall finish the HP read-a-long and the year with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
