Series I Finished in 2017!

Hello beautiful people of the internet! I hope your 2018 is going swimmingly so far! Mine is going pretty well. In fact, I'm off to see the newest Star Wars in a couple hours! I can't wait. Star Wars has been such a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember and seeing a new SW movie on the big screen means so much to me. Anyways, you're not here to read me ranting about how much I love SW, you're here to find out what series I finished in 2017!

Now, there's only six here. But if you think about the fact that I didn't read nearly as many books in 2017 as I did in 2016, yet finished the same, if not more, series, then I feel like I did pretty okay. Also, I'm reminding myself that I'm caught up on a lot of series, but the final books aren't out yet. For the sake of not having this post be a million miles long, I'm keeping away from those and just focusing on the series that are finished and done with.

First things first, I finished the Seraph Black series by Jane Washington.

I do have a complete series review that you can find here, but let me just say that I love this series. It was one of my first forays into RH books and I still love it to this day. In fact, I'm thinking a reread might be in order very soon--probably as the audiobooks release I'll listen to those.

The second series I finished was the Thunder Road trilogy by Katie McGarry.
I love this companion trilogy and I wish we would get more books in it. However, occasionally the author releases a novella about certain characters in the series, so I guess that's all I can ask for! Still, this trilogy brought me much happiness and angst, and I can't wait to reread them soon! You can find my Books 1, 2, and 3 reviews by clicking on each number!

Next, I finished the Hot Candy duology by Jo Raven.
These were short, smutty, fun reads that I'm glad I read. They didn't particularly stick with me in any way but I did enjoy them when I read them. Plus, the smut is top notch and I kind of wish we had more of it. Disclaimer: after looking it up on Goodreads, I realized there was a third book in this but it follows completely different characters so I'm still going to count this as finished.

Then I finished the Rock Hard Beautiful trilogy by C.M. Stunich.
My love for these books grew with each book and I still get shivers when I think about them. It's an RH trilogy that is smutty but also deals with some serious topics. The books get better and better with each installment and I ended up really liking these books by the end of the trilogy.

Next I finished the Faith series by Nikki Bolvair.
This was originally only going to be a 4 book series, in which case I would have finished it in 2016, but then the author announced that she was going to have a 5th wrap-up type of book. I read it, I loved it, I wished there was more in this series. However, the last book was done really well and I can't ask for much more than that.

Lastly, I finished the first trilogy of A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.
I was a bit unsure of whether or not to include this trilogy on this list, but I decided to add it anyways. There's going to be more books after this trilogy, but they're going to be following different characters and a different storyline. Kind of like the different Shadowhunter series. Either way, I loved this trilogy so freaking much. I'm not going to go too much in depth here, but this series is one of my all-time top 5. You can find my reviews for book 1, 2, and 3 by clicking on each of their numbers.

Thanks for reading! Here's to even better series in 2018!
xoxo
