Hello everyone! How are all of you beautiful peoples doing today? My book haul for this month is super exciting in my opinion. I got a lot of books that I've been wanting for a while as well as a surprise few. As a plus, I didn't buy 6 of the books listed below and I paid less than $40 for the remaining few. I ended with 10 physical books and 2 ebooks for this month, which I think is a good number.
(Pictured are the only books I brought to college that I got this month)

First things first, I got Uprooted by Naomi Novik from my local used bookstore.
I've been looking around online for a cheap hardcover of this book and I hadn't been able to find one, so I decided to go ahead and go to my local bookstore. Originally, I didn't think they had it but as I was on my way to checkout and I saw it sticking off a shelf. Of course I had to grab it and buy it the moment I saw it, especially considering it was only $9.

Secondly, I got an arc of Hexed by Michelle Krys, also from my local used bookstore.
I've seen this book around for a while and while I'm usually not ok with buying arcs, it was the only copy of this book they had at the store. So I ended up buying it. All I know about it is witches and high school, which is pretty much all I want to know going into this book.

My last book from that trip to the bookstore is Written in Red by Anne Bishop.
I've had this book on my wishlist for a while but I hadn't been able to find the hardcover online for a good price, so when I saw it at the bookstore, I snatched it up. I don't really know what it's about except for the fact that it's supposedly paranormal-esque.

The friend I went to the bookstore with was getting rid of a few books and gave me The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani.
I've heard great things about this book, mostly from Reagan at PeruseProject on YouTube. It's a middle grade about a school for good and a school for evil and two girls who end up going to the opposite schools than what they expected. I'm excited to dive into it.

The next day, my friend and I went to the bookstore again and she bought me a few books, the first being The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen.
I have the first one in this series on Kindle and I've heard nothing but amazing things. So when we saw it at the bookstore (2 copies, actually), we both got a copy. The cover is just absolutely stunning and I can't wait to get into these books.

I read this book a few years ago and I absolutely loved it, but I had borrowed it from the library. I've been wanting my own copy ever since so that I can reread it whenever I want, but it wasn't until this month that I finally got myself a copy. I can't wait to read it again.

Next she got me Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli.
She's been raving at me to read this book for so long and I've had my eye on it for a while, but I hadn't gotten myself a copy yet. I'm thrilled to have it in my hands and I can't wait to get to it very soon and then watch the movie.

The last book she got me was Grave Mercy by Robin Lafevers.
I've had this on my list for a couple years now and I'm so glad to finally have it on my shelf. It's a book about a girl being trained by nuns to be an assassin. It sounds amazing and, as fantasy is my favorite genre, I'm incredibly intrigued by it.

The next day I went and bought myself the Barnes & Noble edition of The Cruel Prince by Holly Black.
It's absolutely stunning. I'm so happy to have this special edition as I think it's even prettier than the regular one. I've heard nothing but amazing things and I'm so excited to read it. It's a fantasy about fae and that's pretty much my favorite thing ever.

The last book I got this month was an arc of Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young.
I've been dying to get my hands on an arc of this book for almost two months now and I'm thrilled that I finally found someone to trade it with on Twitter. It's about fantasy and vikings and a badass female protagonist and I'm beyond intrigued. I can't wait to get to it!

The first ebook I got was Found by B.L. Brunnemer.
This is the first in Brunnemer's new adult companion series to The Veil Diaries. I've read it already and, while I enjoyed it, it didn't quite meet my expectations. However, I'm still excited to move forward with this series.

The second and last ebook I got was Ryan's Bed by Tijan.
This was one of my more anticipated book of the month and 2018 and I'm so excited to have it in my hands. I'm currently reading it and it's honestly just heartbreaking so far. I can't wait to get even farther into it.
